The name Mr. Nick and Friends held a residency at the Manchester, NH club The Black Brimmer for over two years. While the musicians changed, the name, Mr. Nick and Friends, didn't. That's because that's what was there damn near every week. Whether it was the members of the band, our loyal dancers, or guest musicians Mr. Nick AND Friends were there every week.

Recorded in early 2006 this performance is the culmination of this particular line-up. Featuring myself, Tom Martin, on the bass, Mr. Nick on vocals and harp, Travis Colby (Roomful of Blues) on piano, John Medeiros, Jr on drums and Brad Faucher on guitar the band blasts through a handful of our favorite songs. From the Mr. Nick penned opener "Plan B Honk" to the closing medley of "Don't Cry No More/I Got Loaded" the band showcases the material with skill and energy that only a band of serious gigging musicians can exude.

Continuing in the Friends theme the disc is highlighted by performances of Adam Connelly and, in addition to MCing the night, Brian Templeton (The Radio Kings). It was a great night. The energy from the audience was awesome and the band feels we got a strong representation of our performance....and we decided to make the night available to you!
